PCB Chamber Recognized by Bay District School Board
On June 10, 2010, the Bay District School Board, Superintendent Bill Husfelt, recognized the PC Beach Chamber of Commerce for the participation in the Classroom Mentoring Program. The Beach Chamber, Navy Base and Air Force Base, all recruited community leaders to take part in the Superintendent Mentoring Program. Each mentor received a special recognition award. Our Beach Mentors are: Ron Sharpe- United Way of Northwest Florida, Carol Brown- Gulf World Marine Park, Erica Spivey- Children’s Home Society, Cheryl Taylor- Gulf Coast Community College, Dr. Carrie Baker- Gulf Coast Community College and Lori Wolverton from Troy University.
