On Thursday, September 20, 2012, the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce was recognized by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP) for their hard work and polished structure with their online communication pieces during the Outstanding Communications Awards. The Beach Chamber’s website, www.PCBeach.org, won 1st place in the state of Florida. The 2012 FACP fall conference took place in Boca Raton, FL.The purpose of the Outstanding Communications Awards is to recognize achievement in chamber communications, marketing, and public relations. The Beach Chamber website was featured in the category of Audio/Visual/Online Communications.
PCBeach.org is the Beach Chamber’s most valuable resource when it comes to reaching the most visitors, resident hopefuls, and residents. It is a highly sought after Panama City Beach website for visitor information, as well as business contact information. PCBeach.org had over 345,000 visits and over 1.1 million page views from July of 2011 to July of 2012. It has also been visited by every state in the country and by 153 different countries/territories.
