The Rocky Horror Show

This outrageous musical comedy/parody of horror fiction films, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, opening is directed by Jason Blanks and Ray H. Stanley and features a cast of over a dozen singers and actors. Brad and Janet, two wholesome kids whose car breaks down during a thunderstorm seek refuge in a nearby castle, home to a mad scientist from another planet and his motley crew of servants and groupies. Pier Fishing Challenge

To showcase the world-class fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, Panama City Beach is luring avid anglers with weekend-long pier fishing tournaments this fall. Through the month of October, the City Pier vs. County Pier Challenge guarantees a prize purse totaling $7,500. Extending more than 1,500 feet into the Gulf of Mexico, the M.B. Miller Pier (County Pier) and the Russell-Fields Pier (City Pier) are two of the longest on the Gulf Coast and are prime fishing spots for anglers of all ages. There is no fee to enter the contest – anyone fishing from the pier is automatically entered into the tournament.

4th Annual Winterfest

6th Annual Run for the Redfish

6th Annual New Year's Beach Ball Drop

Ring in the New Year in true Panama City Beach style during the 6th Annual Pier Park Beach Ball Drop! Thousands are expected to gather on the Emerald Coast to welcome 2014 with an evening of live entertainment, fireworks displays, giveaways and more. Attendees will enjoy two ball drops, including a Family Beach Ball Drop consisting of more than 10,000 inflatable beach balls released onto Pier Park’s boardwalk earlier in the evening, followed by the traditional midnight ball drop with an 800 pound lighted beach ball descending nearly 100 feet.
