The primary responsibility of the Multimedia Sales Executive/ Outside B2B Sales is to increase both print and digital advertising revenues by actively engaging with clients, fielding calls, visiting clients, and overall revenue driving activities. This position directly affects and is responsible for achieving or exceeding individual and team revenue targets in the market. Must be able to multitask and be detail oriented.
Preparing for appointments – travel is local and typically within a 50 mile radius of your office. Meeting daily with owners of small to medium sized businesses with the goal of marketing and securing Business. Conducting our â€śsolutions basedâ€ť approach to qualifying potential business for new sales leads in between appointments and during networking opportunities. Contacting Sales Coordinator with feedback from appointments and sharing new business lead opportunities. Reviewing the dayâ€™s successes and challenges with your Sales Manager, gaining sales support as appropriate– all administrative support people have a vested interest in your success
At least two years of face-to-face direct sales, outside sales, B2B, Business Development experience is preferred. Bachelorâ€™s degree preferred but not necessary. We will consider the right experience over a degree. Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision. Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships, particularly with business owners, company decision-makers and CEOs. Good communicatorâ€”excellent listening skills and ability to offer solutions.
