iSirona Expanding in Panama City

iSirona Expanding in Panama City

On Wednesday, August 22, 2012, iSirona, a medical software company, is expanding its location into Downtown Panama City the Bay County Economic Development Alliance announced at today’s press conference. The new location will be at 430 W. Fifth St., sharing the space with the Allied Research Associates.
iSirona has grown since its establishment in 2008 from 22 employees to now over 100. A total of $530,000 will be granted to the company, if they meet all the criteria. iSirona will be receiving $350,000 of that total from the Industry, Recruitment, Retention and Expansion Fund Grant Program. “We look forward to providing job and economic opportunities in Bay County,” said Dave Dyell, chief executive officer of iSirona. iSirona is only the 2nd company to receive money from that grant. Sixty-seven new highway wage jobs for our community are being created with the grant with an average annual wage of $50,000. “An additional 29 jobs are projected to be generated in other Bay County businesses,” according to Joey Ginn, EDA chair. High-tech, good-quality jobs are what Downtown Panama City will be experiencing, having both great economic and communal benefits.
iSirona provides hospitals with the most flexible, easy to use option for medical device connectivity. With their help, hospitals can connect almost any medical device to their clinical information systems, providing faster access to more accurate patient information and freeing nurses from the burden of hand-entering patient data.
