Panama City Beach Celebrates National Tourism Day

From boating on the Gulf of Mexico to leisurely strolls on the soft sand or enjoying family-fun amusements and shopping, the opportunities for good times in Panama City Beach are nearly endless for every type of vacationer. As May 3 marks “National Tourism Day”, Visit Panama City Beach invites locals and visitors alike to celebrate what makes this beach one of the best in the country!

“Panama City Beach is in the midst of a multi-year trend of tourism success as the investment community has taken notice of the value available in our scenic Gulf coast communities,” says Visit Panama City Beach President and CEO Dan Rowe. “We’ve grown in leaps and bounds – the timeless tradition of having fun in this incredible destination is stronger than ever.”

Everyone is invited to attend “National Tourism Day” festivities and enjoy a day of All-American beach fun featuring live entertainment, stilt walkers and a photo booth. Food and drinks including hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, cupcakes, soda and water will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free festivities will take place at the County Pier (MB Miller Pier, 12213 Front Beach Road).
