Celebrate Tourism Appreciation Day on Panama City Beach

Whether sinking your toes in the sugar- white sand beaches, enjoying family-fun activities, dining, shopping or exploring the beauty of the great outdoors, Panama City Beach offers endless opportunities for every type of vacationer. As May 9 marks “Tourism Appreciation Day”, Visit Panama City Beach invites locals and visitors alike to celebrate what makes this beach one of the best in the country!

“Panama City Beach has seen record tourism numbers in recent years with interest from travelers rapidly growing through continued development,” says Visit Panama City Beach President and CEO Dan Rowe. “We can’t wait to celebrate our success alongside visitors and locals alike on May 9th and look forward to welcoming even more guests to the destination in the coming years.”

Everyone is invited to attend “Tourism Appreciation Day” festivities for an evening of All-American beach fun, complete with live entertainment, cuisine from local food trucks, refreshments and fireworks. The free festivities will take place at the MB Miller Pier, located at 12213 Front Beach Road from 5:00-7:30 p.m.
