Teresa Graves is the Newest Employee at the Beach Chamber
Posted on: August 16, 2013
The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new team member in July. Teresa Graves joins the Chamber as an information specialist. She brings with her an eye for detail, friendly attitude and more than 10 years of administrative experience. Teresa hails from central Ohio, but moved to Florida after high school to attend Flagler College in historic St. Augustine. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she worked as a Children’s Case Manager at St. Johns County Mental Health.
After several years in the ancient city, looking to explore the U.S., Teresa moved with her husband to the Pacific Northwest. In Bend, Oregon, she worked in administration and sales for Entre-Prises Climbing Walls; a position which indulged her love for travel and the outdoors. In 2012, her husband was offered a job which would allow the couple to live anywhere of their choosing. After visiting several Southeast beach destinations, they chose the white sands and emerald waters of Panama City Beach.
While Teresa enjoyed climbing and snowboarding in Oregon, she is looking forward to taking up new activities such as scuba diving and paddle boarding. She is also happy to have found a strong yoga community at the beach.
