SkyWheel Panama City Beach is seeking a dependable, team-oriented individual with high energy and a passion for delivering excellent guest service to join our team as the Assistant Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and customer service through management of the SkyWheel Supervising Team. We are looking for a motivated individual with industry experience. This position reports to the General Manager.
Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:
â€¢ Effectively manage and inspire the Supervising Team to achieve results by setting high standards for performance under the direction of the General Manager
â€¢ Ensure proper staffing, capacity, efficiencies, crowd control and guest service standards are met daily
â€¢ Ensure compliance with all internal control and cash management policies, procedures and practices
â€¢ Ensure compliance with staff attendance and appearance policies
â€¢ Ensure staff is performing the highest level of customer service
â€¢ Assist with hiring of year-round and seasonal staff
â€¢ Assist in the creation, performance and documentation of staff training and orientation
â€¢ Exemplify and maintain exemplary levels of guest service and handle customer complaints
â€¢ Handle customer-involved incidents and accidents
â€¢ Complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting
â€¢ Assist with planning and executing of employee incentive programs
â€¢ Maintain a positive relationship with venue and community partners as an effort to promote add value to the overall business.
Qualifications included but not limited to:
â€¢ Proven attention to detail and follow-through with excellent organizational skills for keeping detailed records, reports and logs
â€¢ Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
â€¢ Proficient with Point of Sale Software
â€¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
â€¢ Must be able to work professionally and coordinate with all levels of SkyWheel team members, vendors, on site venue partners.
â€¢ Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays including opening and closing shifts, to meet the needs of the facility. Must be able to respond to the facility and be available to work unscheduled hours to respond to unplanned and/or emergency work
â€¢ Valid driverâ€™s license and acceptable pre-employment drug screen and background check
â€¢ Ability to lift 50 pounds without difficulty, climb ladders and stairs at large heights, stand for long periods of time and work in a variety of conditions including heat, cold and rain
â€¢ Minimum of 5 years customer service experience. Prior experience in the amusement/theme park or high-volume tourist-based entertainment venue is beneficial.
