Capt. Anderson’s Marina
Capt. Anderson’s Marina, one of the largest privately owned Marine recreational complexes in the world, is located on the Grand Lagoon in Panama City Beach within minutes of scenic St. Andrews Bay, the pristine ecosystem of uninhabited Shell Island, and the bountiful fishing waters of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico!
Marina facilities include the Shell Island Express Ferry – taking visitors on the least expensive and easiest way to enjoy the day at Shell Island; the Capt. Anderson III sightseeing boat – offering Eco-Tours, Dolphin Encounters and cruises to Shell Island; 5 large Deep Sea Fishing Boats, 25 Private Charter Fishing Boats, a Seafood Market to clean and pack your fish for travel, 2 Dockside Restaurants, and a Nautical Gift Shop.
The Anderson family settled in the Panama City area in the early 1800’s and supplied the Confederacy with salt fish during the War Between the States. In 1935 they started taking tourists on some of the earliest deep sea fishing trips from Panama City, then moved operations to the Grand Lagoon in 1957 where Capt. Ken Anderson and his family preside over the marina today. If you are looking for a great place to go for outdoor fun on the water of any kind, be sure to contact the folks at Capt. Anderson’s Marina. 850-234-3435
