The community is coming together again to give recognition and thanks to our first responders and veterans. A Superior Air Conditioning Company will hold its third quarterly First Responder & Vets Appreciation Lunches of the year again at Texas Roadhouse located in Pier Park North (15660 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach). This Appreciation Lunch takes place on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 pm.
Jimy Thorpe, A Superior’s owner, donates eight new air conditioning units to deserving first responders and veterans per year, two to be given away per quarter. “I feel that giving back to veterans and first responders is like taking the time to help my father,” says Thorpe. “It’s something that comes second nature; it’s instinctive and something that’s driven in me.”
First responders and veterans are encouraged to apply for the donation by going to www.ASuperiorAC.com and clicking THE TEAM, and then “Vets Helping Vets Air Conditioning Giveaway.” American Legion Post 392 meets and votes on all submissions each quarter, selecting one first responder and one veteran to win. The giveaway is open to all who have served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and all first responders including EMT/Medics, Police, Sheriffs and Fire Fighters.
Paul and Helen Schreiner, Owner/Operators of Texas Roadhouse, are excited to host and give thanks to people who put their lives on the line every day for the citizens of our community. Local businesses are invited and encouraged to donate door prizes and giveaways.
