Beach Chamber Makes Donation to Bay District Schools Hurricane Relief

The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a $7,000 donation to Bay District Schools. These funds were raised through the Annual Panama City Beach Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K. Recognizing the needs of students and teachers in our community after Hurricane Michael, the support of our race participants will help enable Bay District Schools to provide clothing and supplies to those who lost everything.

“We are honored to be able to make an impact in our community,” said Kristopher McLane, President/CEO of the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. “When we announced that a portion of the race proceeds would be donated to Bay District Schools to help students and teachers affected by Hurricane Michael, we received an overwhelming response from people all across the country. Over 850 athletes participated in the race, all eager to support our community.”
