Beach Chamber Welcomes Rhonda Lairsey to the Team

The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its hiring of Rhonda Lairsey as the new Director of Member Services. Rhonda was welcomed on board after previous Director of Member Services, Skip Alford, accepted an executive position at the chamber in Homestead, Florida.

Rhonda brings to the team a wealth of sales and customer service knowledge and experience. “We are excited to have Rhonda as a member of the chamber team,” Beach Chamber President/CEO, Lance Allison, said. “She comes with extensive sales experience and understands the importance of building and maintaining relationships with her clients, which will make her transition into working with our members smooth.”

She previously worked at Resort Collection of Panama City Beach, where she was the manager of Ocean’s Bar & Grill. After leaving Resort Collection, Rhonda worked for the Panama City News Herald for three and a half years, and was a top sales and advertising executive for the publication.

Looking forward to 2016, the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce did not select its new director lightly. Out of more than 50 applications, Ms. Lairsey stood out in not only her experience, but through her professionalism and strong recommendations from other valued Beach Chamber members.

The Director of Member Services position oversees the sale of membership, as well as the retention of current Beach Chamber members. This person is also responsible to provide opportunities to members through advertising and networking options.

Rhonda is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended Southern State College where she attained her degree in Business Administration. She is married to her husband, Woody, and together they have four children and six wonderful grandchildren.
