After a couple of years she was also put in charge of the Human Resources Department, along with other responsibilities. In her endeavors to improve herself, as well aid in the growth of Gulf World, she has served as a Board of Directors for the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce and many other boards and committees for local organizations. Producing not only benefits to Gulf World, but to the community as well. Over the past 7 years her hard work and dedication has allowed for her personal and professional growth. During that time her performance has proven her capable to take on a greater role.

Secret Holmes-Douglas has been promoted to the Director of Animal Care and Training of Gulf World Marine Park.
