Bay County’s Purchasing Department will hold an open house aimed at helping local companies learn how to do business with the county from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 26 in Room 1030 of the Bay County Government Center, located at 840 W. 11th St., Panama City.
Current and prospective vendors and the public are invited to provide various department representatives with contact information and listings of the services and goods they offer. Procurement staff will be on hand to provide any additional information business representatives may seek.
“This event will provide businesses who may not know how to offer their goods and services to the county an opportunity to learn about the process. It will also provide the county with a robust roster of options to help ensure we’re making the most of the public’s money,” Bay County Purchasing Director Karen Grindle said.
