GCSC & GCSC Foundation Meet $5 Million ATC Goal

Gulf Coast State College and the GCSC Foundation are celebrating the early completion of the Advanced Technology Center’s “Pathways to the Future: $5 Million, 5-Year Capital Campaign” on May 1 at 10:00 a.m. in the ATC.

Through cash gifts, in-kind gifts, equipment gifts and grants, $5,121,008.41 has been raised for the facility in a little over a year and a half since the campaign kicked off in September 2012.

Benefactors, corporate partners and community leaders will be recognized at the event. Leah Dunn, ATC Campaign Chair, and Floyd Skinner, GCSC Foundation Culinary Campaign Chair, will both be honored for leading the campaign to its successful conclusion. Speakers include Dr. Jim Kerley, GCSC President, Ralph Roberson, Chair of the GCSC District Board of Trustees, Mike Ross, Entrepreneur-In-Residence/Small Business Development Center, Guy Garrett, Assistant Professor of Network Services Technology, GCSC student Kevin McGee and local artist Paul Brent.
