Hurricane Irma – Post Storm Update

Hurricane Irma – Post Storm Update

Updated: Tuesday, Sept. 12, 9:45 AM (CT) The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce has created this page to provide updates to local residents, businesses, and visitors coming to our area. Due to the high volume of calls and emails we are receiving, the Beach Chamber wanted to help clear any confusion that some may have about Bay County and the Panama City Beach area. We are open for business and there is minimal to no damage from the storm. Local gas stations are not out of gas, we have power, stores have water, and flooding was extremely limited. The beaches are open but please check the local flag warnings to see if the Gulf water is closed or open before entering. As always, please adhere to any and all state/local authorities. Unfortunately, many other areas in the state of Florida were greatly impacted from the storm. Please help by donating to the Red Cross or volunteer to help.
