Panama City Beach Marathon Prepares for its Fourth Year

The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce is proud to host its 4th Annual Panama City Beach Marathon, sponsored by Visit Panama City Beach. Set for Saturday, December 1, 2018, the 26.2 mile race is a staple for the community and attracts hundreds of both residents and visitors to Panama City Beach. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Bay District Schools hurricane relief for students and teachers who lost everythingÂ in Hurricane Michael.
The Panama City Beach Marathon willÂ comprise of a 13.1 mile Half-Marathon, 5K, and Kids Fun Run, allowing running fanatics of all levels the opportunity to test their limits alongside the Worldâ€™s Most Beautiful Beaches.
The race begins and ends in Pier Park, with an after party at Jimmy Buffettâ€™s Margaritaville. All runners of the Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 5K will receive a long sleeve shirt, and all finishers will receive a medal. The certified course is a 2020 Boston Marathon Qualifier, and the race is professionally timed.
