    Quarterly Professional Development Breakfast

    “It’s a Digital World – Safety First!”

    Tuesday, October 18, in the Beach Chamber Boardroom

    Breakfast will be served at 8:30am and the seminar will begin at 9:00am

    Join Engagement Engineer Kristi Kirkland with Answer Marketing, and gain value by increasing your knowledge in the following subjects:
    -Social media policy- what is it and who benefits from it?
    -You are already out there- learn how to protect your content!
    -Customers are talking- do you know what about?

    Want to explore what you are learning? Bring a device (iPad, Laptop, Notebook) with you!

    Previous Projects:

    Mad City Money – A simulation for high school students to experience first-hand what it is like to budget money while purchasing all the essentials such as housing, auto, food, household necessities, clothing, daycare and all of the other wants and needs!

    Million Pencil/Pen Project – A project dedicated to gathering school supplies and distributing them to our local middle schools, and working with Bay’s Next Generation Learning Council and Career Academies to bring speakers and real world projects into the classroom.

    Education Heroes – A feature dedicated to spotlighting teachers and business partners making a difference in education, and telling about their innovative work and mission in our Circuit magazine.

     

    The Education Partnership Committee also raises donations and support for the Beach Chamber Education Fund, Inc., which creates a scholarship at both Florida State-Panama City and Gulf Coast State College.
