Job description
Reports to: VP Lending Sales/Service
Summary: Supervise and support the day to day operation of a branch location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the compliance of the branches operations and adherence to Federal, State and credit union policies and procedures.
Support and adhere to the credit union’s management philosophy and goals to achieve the success of the branch and impart this philosophy and goals onto branch staff. This includes individual and branch goals.
Provide lending and member service functions in all areas of the operation of the branch including lending goals, new accounts, IRAs and teller functions as necessary.
Provide outstanding member service and impart those member service standards on the branch staff.
Provide and review with the VP Sales/Service all branch personnel reviews and make recommendations involving employment, counseling, performance evaluations, and possible discipline of branch staff.
Oversee the expansion of business relationships, new accounts and community relations within the branch area.
Direct, train and schedule branch staff to provide optimal functioning of the branch.
Work in conjunction with branch staff to insure all credit union safety and security policies are monitored and adhered to including building, vault, cash and lending functions.
Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of branch facility.
Other branch responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have at least 5 years financial experience; including teller, member service and lending.
Must have at least 2 years financial management experience
Must have strong computer knowledge; including Microsoft Office products and Outlook.
Must be able to interact with others in a positive manner, especially in a difficult situation

Job Title: Teller
Position Overview
Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and cash advances. Balances each day’s transactions and verifies cash totals. Answer members’ questions regarding Credit Union services available and perform a variety of account maintenance duties in a prompt and professional manner. Actively cross-sell other credit union products and services.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Provides fast, accurate and friendly service to all members and non-members.
Receives, verifies and disburses member cash and check transactions including share deposits, transfers and loan payments.

Processes cash advances, travelers’ checks, cashiers’ checks, money orders, bank-to-bank wires.
Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals. Investigates and resolves out-of-balance conditions.

Cross sell other credit union products and services that may enhance the member’s financial relationship with the credit union. All employees are required to have a working knowledge of all credit union products and services and be able to relay them to members and prospective members.

Knowledge of federal and state regulations concerning teller transactions and functions.

Receives and directs members and telephone calls. Responds to inquiries and questions if possible or directs them as necessary.
