Beach Chamber Launches Ideaworks

The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its continuing partnership with Southwest Airlines. On Wednesday, January 30, 2013 the Beach Chamber will hold a press conference from 10:30 to 11:00 AM in the Dean’s Conference Room at Gulf Coast State College (in Student Union East).

Alison Hoefler, Southwest Airlines Manager of Community Affairs & Grassroots, will be present to help the Beach Chamber officially launch “IdeaWorks,” a small business initiative designed for small businesses leaders to network and brainstorm with other like-minded individuals on business growth & development. Since August of 2010, Southwest Airlines has been the Presenting Sponsor for the Beach Chamber’s monthly Lunch & Learn workshops, organized by the Chamber’s former small business committee,
“Navigator.”

The committee’s first quarterly Lunch & Learn workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 30 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Gulf Coast State College’s Dean’s Private Dining Room. Lisa and Shane Adams of Thrive Partnership will present “Think and Grow Rich – It’s about more than just money!”

The committee’s inaugural IdeaCamp will be held the following evening, on Thursday, January 31 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bay Point Wyndham’s Kingfish Restaurant. This event is a forum where guests can learn, share and network in a comfortable cocktail setting. IdeaCamps will add in the ‘sharing’ factor so that everyone will have an opportunity to speak and contribute.
