The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Daybreak 76® as the title sponsor for the 7th Annual Panama City Beach Marathon presented Visit Panama City Beach. Set for Saturday, December 3, 2022, the 26.2-milerace is a staple event for the community attracting hundreds of residents and visitors to Panama City Beach in the shoulder season.
“I’m thrilled to have the support of a strong corporate partner like Daybreak 76®,” said Kristopher McLane, PCB Chamber of Commerce President/CEO. “Nearly 50 percent of last years participants were from out of state. Through this member-partnership, we are able to accelerate this winter event which will attract more visitation to the area, ultimately supporting our membership.”
The Daybreak 76® Panama City Beach Marathon is also comprised of a 13.1-mile Half-Marathon, 5K, and Kids Fun Run, allowing running enthusiasts of all levels the opportunity to test their limits alongside the world’s most beautiful beaches. Participants, friends and family can follow along through live tracking on the RealJoy app.
The race begins and ends in Pier Park, with an after party at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville where all runners will enjoy beer and gumbo. All runners of the Marathon, Half-Marathon, and5K will receive a long sleeve shirt, all finishers will receive a medal, and age group winners receive awards. The certified course is a 2024 Boston Marathon Qualifier and the race is professionally timed.
